Armenia people and country Part nine – Aragaz

Das ist der letzte Teil meines Armenien Trips und führt uns auf den höchsten Berg des Landes. Beeindruckende Landschaft und dünne Luft bleiben mir in Erinnerung. Der Aragaz ist ein erloschener Schichtvulkan ist 4090m. Der Berg befindet sich an der Grenze der beiden Provinzen Aragazotn und Schirak nordwestlich der Hauptstadt Jerewan. Zwischenstation an der Festung Amberd. Sie ist eine mittelalterliche, seit 1236 teilweise zerstörte Festung, etwa 6 km vom Dorf Byurakan entfernt auf einer Höhe von 2300 m am Südhang des Aragaz. Amberd war auch eine der mittelalterlichen Hauptstädte Armeniens. Mittlerweile hat es am Aragaz geschneit und Garik hat mir ein schönes Bild geschickt. English Version: Aragaz is an extinct stratovolcano and with 4090 m the highest elevation in Armenia. The mountain is located on the border of the two provinces of Aragazotn and Shirak northwest of the capital Yerevan. Stopover at the Amberd Fortress. It is a medieval fortress, partially destroyed since 1236, about 6 km from the village of Byurakan at an altitude of 2300 m on the southern slope of the Aragaz. Armenia people and country Part eight – Seewan

Der Sewansee ist mit 1272 km², Fläche, einer Länge von 78 km und einer Breite von maximal 56 km der größte Süßwassersee Armeniens sowie des gesamten Kaukasus. Der See liegt 1900 m über dem Meeresspiegel ist maximal 79,7 m tief und sein Volumen beträgt 37,9 km³. Ende September konnte man im See noch Baden. Lecker war das Schaschlik das meine armenischen Freunde gemacht hatten. Es war ein wunderschöner Audflug an dem ich mich noch gerne zurück erinnere. English Version: Lake Sevan, with a surface area of ??1272 km², a length of 78 km and a maximum width of 56 km, is the largest freshwater lake in Armenia and the entire Caucasus. The lake is 1900 m above sea level is a maximum of 79.7 m deep and its volume is 37.9 km ³. At the end of September you could swim in the lake. Tasty was the shashlik that my Armenian friends had made. It was a beautiful Audflug on which I still like to remember.

Hohenfeld Kitzingen

Kleiner Rundgang durch den idyllischen Ortsteil im Süden Kitzingens. Ortssprecherin Hiltrud Stocker nahm sich die Zeit um mir bei herrlichen Herbstwetter die schönen Seiten von Hohenfeld zu zeigen. Vielen Dank dafür. Herausgekommen ist eine schöne Bilderserie. Beitrag ist noch in Bearbeitung

AK Gr.3 Würzburg: SG Buchbrunn-Mainstockheim II – FV Ülkemspor Kitzingen 4:4 mit Bilderserie

Das Spiel vom Sonntag zwischen der der Reserve der Spielgemeinschaft Buchbrunn/Mainstockheim und FV Ülkemspor Kitzingen endete mit einem 4:4-Remis. Wer vor dem Anpfiff ein Match auf Augenhöhe erwartet hatte, fühlte sich durch den Ausgang der Partie bestätigt.Das Match war erst wenige Momente alt, als vor 50 Zuschauern und herrlichen Herbstwetter, bereits der erste Treffer fiel. Kevin Schulze war es, der in der fünften Minute zur Stelle war. Das 1:1 der Gastgeber durfte Allessandro Hipp bejubeln. Pascal Gedrat erhöhte auf 2:1. Den weiteren Spielverlauf sieht man hier.  Bezeichnet sind die acht Tore die die zwei abwehrschwächsten Mannschaften der Liga hinnehmen mussten. Buchbrunn/Mainstockheim jetzt 49 Gegentore und die Gäste bringen es immerhin auch auf 47 Gegentore. Am kommenden Wochenende muß die SG Buchbrunn/Mainstockheim II in Euerfeld beim Duo Dettelbach II antreten, während die Kitzinger die SG Markt Einersheim/Seinsheim/Nenzenheim empfangen.

Armenia people and country Part six – Armawir

Armawir ist eine Stadt im Westen Armeniens mit einer geschätzten Einwohnerzahl von 26000. Armawir ist die Hauptstadt der gleichnahmigen Provinz. Armawir hieß während der sozialistischen Zei bis 1992 Hoktemberyan und vor 1932 Sardarabad. Die namensgleiche Stadt Armarwir in Russland wurde im 19. Jahrhundert von Armeniern aus Armawir gegründet. Ich durfte dort bei sehr netten Menschen drei Wochen lang leben und erlebte dabei eine unglaubliche Gastfreundschaft. Danke an alle die das von euch lesen. Irgendwie habe ich mich in die Stadt und die netten Menschen dort verliebt. Ich könnte mir sogar vorstellen dorthin auszuwandern. Mal schauen was das Leben noch bringt. Bilderserie unten. Armawir was called Hoktemberyan until 1992 and Sardarabad before 1932 during the socialist era. The same-named city Armarwir in Russia was founded in the 19th century by Armenians from Armavir. I was able to live there for three weeks with very nice people and experienced an incredible hospitality. Thanks to all who read this from you. AK-Gr4 WÜ: TSV Homburg 2 – SV Germania Erlenbach 2 – 2:1

Letzter Woche fragten mich die Mainpostkollegen der Main-Spessart Redaktion ob ich am Sonntag zwei Spiele in Homburg und Helmstadt fotografieren könnte. Eigentlich wollte ich zur Ebshäuser Kerm und danach zum Match Dettelbach/Schwarzach. Aber ich bin dann doch in den farbenfrohen herbstlichen Spessart gefahren. Dieses Spiel ist mehr oder weniger Beifang gewesen. Bei herrlichen Wetter konnte ich dann nochmal das 100-400 aufpflanzen. Mehr zum Spiel findet man hier.

Armenia people and country Part four – Artik

Artik eine Stadt in der nordwestearmenischen Provinz Schirak hat rund 18.000 Einwohnern. Im 20. Jahrhundert wurde die zweitgrößte Stadt der Provinz zu einem Industriestandort ausgebaut. Der mit dem Ende der Sowjetzeit zum Erliegen gekommene Abbau von Tuff wird heute in kleinerem Maßstab fortgesetzt. Die außerhalb gelegene Kirche von Lmbatavank ist um das Jahr 600 datiert. – Artik a city in the northwestern Armenian province of Shirak has about 18,000 inhabitants. In the 20th century, the second largest city in the province was developed into an industrial location. The extinction of tuff, which came to a standstill at the end of the Soviet era, continues today on a smaller scale. The outside church of Lmbatavank dates back to the year 600.

Armenien umfasst ein Gebiet von ca. 29.800 km² und ist damit ca. halb so groß wie Bayern. Im Nordosten des armenischen Hochlands und am Südrand des Kleinen Kaukasus. Es grenzt im Norden an Georgien, im Osten an Aserbaidschan, im Südosten an den Iran, im Süden an die aserbaidschanische Exklave Nachitschewan und von Südwesten bis Westen an die Türkei. Der Zustand der Straßen in der Hauptstadt Eriwan ist in der Regel gut. Vor allem auf dem Land gibt es nach wie vor aber einige Gefahrenquellen. Hierzu gehören u. a. defekte Ampeln, fehlende Gullideckel, unzureichende Beschilderung, fehlende Leitplanken sowie Erdrutsche. Die Armenier sind Stolz auf ihr Land, auf ihre Kulturschätze auf die Landschaft und auf die alten Kirchen und Klöster. Jerewan, eine der ältesten Städte der Welt, besticht durch Monumentalbauten aus der Sowjetzeit. Der Platz der Republik mit seinen musikalischen Wasserspielen und von Kolonnaden gesäumten Regierungsgebäuden bildet das Zentrum der Stadt. Es macht Spaß dort zu bummeln.

Armenia covers an area of ??about 29,800 km² and is thus about half the size of Bavaria. In the northeast of the Armenian highlands and on the southern edge of the Little Caucasus. It is bordered by Georgia to the north, Azerbaijan to the east, Iran to the southeast, Nakhchivan to the south, and Turkey to the southwest and west to the west. The condition of the roads in the capital Yerevan is usually good. Especially in rural areas, however, there are still some sources of danger. These include u. a. defective traffic lights, missing covers, insufficient signposting, missing crash barriers and landslides. The Armenians are proud of their land, their cultural treasures of the countryside and the old churches and monasteries. Jere-wan, one of the oldest cities in the world, boasts monumental buildings from the Soviet era. The Republic Square with its musical water features and colonnaded government buildings forms the center of the city. It’s fun to fuck around there.


By 1936, in the midst of the Great Depression, Manoogian had expanded Masco to the point that it was listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Manoogian’s redesign and production of the Delta faucet, which allowed one-handed use, resulted in best-selling status for the plumbing fixture and generated substantial profits for his business. In 1995, his company had $3 billion in sales and had 38 percent of the domestic market for faucets.
